Live in Ottawa. Of the overseas trips I've made, I liked Lisbon most. I've been to every major city in Canada. Dislike Toronto. Halifax / Dartmouth is my fave.
Have travelled extensively in the U.S. San Diego is nice. Best little city in America is Spokane.

Cool. I loved palm springs CA. Dry heat and very peaceful; however, no beach so that is a minus.

It's the day after a great Xmas Day.

I'm in the kitchen catching up on the iPF threads with a cup of tea next to me. It's dark, calm and dry outside. The temperature is set to reach 12degC today.

I'm under instructions to be at the sales at 8.00 a.m. The shops are a7 minute walk away. Later we will be off to pick up a new laptop for my wife.

Isn't our weather changeable. Well it certainly is here in Britain, which is why we Brits are renowned for discussing it.

I thought this topic would give us an opportunity to post weather related photos and to discuss aspects, such as cloud types, what they mean and forecasting - good or worse than useless?

Without any more ado, I am posting some cloud photos here. A picture is better than 1,000 words.

The first three are of cirrus clouds which had formed over W Kent while the Icelandic volcano was erupting during May 2011.
