Tell me AA! I'll never forget that hail storm in Calgary that July! My cousin in Edmontonwas commenting how mild it has been, compared with 12 months ago.

July 2010. I remember. $400 million in damage claims paid out by the insurance industry. I lived in Calgary for 10 years.
Thought I was going to die one year when we drove through a prairie thunderstorm on the way to Saskatoon.

I'm inside with a cold in my nose and wheezing like an old worn out accordian; at least I don't have to deal with the snow we got yesterday. We only got 3-4 inches but this is mid January. We may be having a snow drought.

Cheers

Outside my window. And there's a lot more to come.

I'm seeing the same thing out my window...sigh....it had been so mild here that the daffodils and crocus started to come up and now this. I know it's January, but I am so sick of winter already.

Ditto in Greater London / Kent. The frost is beautifully twinkly.

Yup! It's all twinkly here too in Somerset UK. It was -3°C last night. All the cars were white and twinkly too. It is still -3°C so I will wait and see if the predicted sun will increase that. The fire will be on today.
Oh and if anyone's interested, I've got my first stinking cold of the winter! Thanks to my ever loving hubby sharing his cough with me! Isn't he sweet to share it with me! Unfortunately I'm asthmatic so my ability to shift it will be longer than his! Sigh! Cough! Cough! Hack! Hack!
