Weather

It was sunny during the day but clouded over as evening approached.

The worst rainstorm we ever had in Regina was in June,1975 when we had over 6" of rain in less than 2 hours!

That happened to us this February and our basement flooded...so fun that was!

The deadliest tornado in Canadian history was on June 30th,1912 in Regina,Saskatchewan.40 people killed,300 injured and 500 buildings destroyed in only 3 minutes. The city didn't finish paying for the damage until 1958.

Oh gosh that's awful...that poor city and it's people!

Hey Scifan...was there documentary on this...I seem to remember watching something...but not sure if it was this?

The rain won't put me off. I may break out the bigger waterproofs for later. I will be off to Tate Modern to watch the river pageant.

My wife and a niece and her hubby will watch proceedings at home.

good morning everyone, got up today to some much needed rain.

Yes, but let's hope this afternoon is dry in London.

If I sneeze on Monday, I may drop my iPad. I can't be having that! Lol

I'm watching Australia v Scotland (rugby union) and I'm wondering why the Aussies have stolen the British weather, it's nice that you make the opponents feel at home but surely this is a step too far?

You mean those raindrops that are just above freezing, and lash into your face, courtesy of a 90 mph wind, feeling like someone is sticking a thousand needles into your flesh?

I remember Scotland, and playing rugby at school. Good to hear that the game is being played in its natural element.
