The  arrived shortly afterwards. It's now dry  and getting sultry!

It's a fairly calm morning with blue blue skies. It's warming up too, but not oppressive.

Now I have 2 lawns to mow. Do I take the one in the shade 1st and keep cooler ready to sweat it out in the sun? Or vice versa and save the shady side for later.

I'll ponder over toast and honey. Yumm

Toast and honey.! Yum! I'm the only one in the family who likes honey. Sigh! Richard, I had a specialist walnut twisted loaf for a sandwich.

That sandwich sounds great. I must see the baker at Saturday's Market.  

My wife has to be careful with which breads she eats. Wholemeal is OK. White breads will cause severe digestive pains. So she cannot eat Naan (she suffered after our Indian meal with Naan and white rice), brioche breads. It's such a pity, but trying out new breads can be fun.

I've copied the above into the foods thread as it sits better there.

Wind easing a bit.
Now it's just blowy.
It's the load noise I find unsettling.
We have huge 400year old trees along the beach.the wind in the branches is loudbring on some no wind days please.

Yup! It's a great morning here too! I'm thinking of going to Tyntesfield house near Bristol as hubby has a bakery stall there today. Tyntesfield is owned by the National Trust, I expect you saw all the hoo ha surrounding it when the national lottery funded it's refurbishment. The house looked beautiful from the outside but when we got there last time the tickets to get in were gone already so we had to content ourselves with the garden and veg areas. We had a picnic after hubby had finished at 4pm. I will enclose a photo from last year with it's tarpaulin coat.

Yes, I hope so, I will post a photo if hubby manages to get tickets to get into house.

I hope it doesn't rain today! Our second sports day is today and I'd rather be outside in the sun than teaching indoors!
