Webpage going blank

ipad 2...when viewing a webpage the page goes blank and displays an error message "a problem has occurred on this webpage so it was reloaded". This can happen several times to the page being viewed. It reloads for a period of time and can reload again. Very frustrating. Please advise....Thanks

This has been happening on various iOS devices for several years now. It could be the result of insufficient or overloaded RAM when browsing web pages. It doesn’t happen as much as it did several years ago and happens more frequently on older devices with less installed RAM. Try closing your open tabs and try again.

You can also try powering it down completely instead of just putting it to sleep .
