Hi all

brought an ipad last month.
I’m a pc guy but decided to try the ipad out.

I’m still trying to decide if I like it or not.
Finding it hard to relax with it when wanting more control over the setting!!!!!

there are good apps I enjoy but finding the ones you want can be frustrating

the latest is the email and calendar for the ipad, looking for an app that works as good a outlook (only because I’m used to it)

any ideas?

ta
ps. was never good with spelling and gramma

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.

Please read the rules too!!

For a calendar app, have a look at Informant HD. The Developer has a comprehensive User Manual available at their web site.

Hi and welcome to the Forum. The iPad is very different to a PC. The best way is to do some searching for the different applications your interested in. As time goes by everything will become more clearer for you. This is a very exciting time for the iPad too with the introduction of IOS5 which they're saying will be released on the 12th. It is bringing a host of new features and one of these will be the email application which should see the advent of folders we hope. We can only sit and wait until it arrives. Persevere and you will be surprised with what this device is capable of and what it can do for you. Enjoy!!

Thank you for the advice I will keep on trying to test the iPad with more apps.

As well as PI you may want to look at SmartPad as an alternative calendar app, I just love it.
