Earlier today, I fell asleep while listening to a 78. Woke up to the sounds of cha cha...cha cha...cha cha... cha cha... Then I realized that the record was over and the tone arm was at the end of the 78 and I had forgotten to turn it off. At first I thought Benny Goodman's reed had become broken during the recording of Sing, Sing, Sing.
