Presently listening to Rush - Roll The Bones.
I had the pleasure of watching the band live 3 times in a week when this album was released, twice at Wembley and once at the NEC, Birmingham.
Still one of my favourites.
Johanna, I don't know whether you are aware, but the Academy of St Martin In The Fields was born of a group of musicians who decided they had had enough of conductors and decided to go it alone. After a while Sir Neville Marriner was tolerated as a conductor, and remained. I have one of their albums featuring the British band "Sky", playing adaptations of the works of Mozart. I'd recommend it to anyone.
