What should I do....

Hi all, I know its been a while and I have not been on here, but I have a dilemma. I have 1st gen IPAD running on the followin:

Version: 4.2.1 (8c148)
Model: MB292LL

*Untethered Jailbreak via redsn0w or green pois0n (Im not 100% which one).

Q1. Is there a way to update and keep everything (apps from cydia/settings...etc)

or

The update is 5.1.1.......update and rejailbreak? (Is it untethered for 5.1.1?

5.1.1 is untethered. You can save your apps and settings and tweaks using utilities like xBackup, PKGBackup and such, upgrade your iOS, then load it back
