Whats the best third party video player?

Could i have some thoughts on the best third party video player app please, would like to drop some xvids and x264 files on to my Ipad 1 without converting them.

oPlayer handles xvids - not sure about x264.

There's a lite version you can try to see if it would work for you.

It's frequently updated - works well for me - and gets good reviews.

XBMC recently got released for jailbroken i-devices. It works very well for local files, play everything I have thrown at it.

It has the added benefit of being able to stream off your local network and has some plug-ins for internet stuff.

Works so well I got an Apple TV2 and jailbroke that and installed it also.

I gave up with player apps and just stream stuff now Sure saves on storage.
Prefer Zumocast but AirVideo is well regarded.
