I've read the book by Thor Heyerdahl but haven't seen this or the original 1950 documentary.

Hilarious movie, and I like the songs (The Kinks, Donovan, The Who, Beatles). A major part of the movie is taking place in London, which made me wish I was there again.

The next time you visit London, you can check out the locations used in the movie.

Abbey Road was one of them. You could even see the Beatles (just their legs) crossing the street, but the VW Beetle was missing, so I guess they had to repeat the same scene once more - without the Minions.
