Although his career as ski jumper was short, he made a lasting impression. Of all the athletes of 1987 - 1992, I remember Matti Nykänen, because he was the best one at that time, and Eddie.

BTW, the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary also witnessed the efforts of the Jamaican bobsled team. Their story was dramatized in the movie Cool Runnings, which bore little resemblance to the actual events.

It's certainly worth watching, mostly because of Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, Emma Thompson, Stanley Tucci and other supporting actors. This movie is almost the same as the animated film from 1991, with two or three additional songs.
