I found a trove of short comedy films from the early 1930s, directed by Hal Roach and starring ZaSu Pitts and Thelma Todd, two silent film actresses who jumped into talkies with both feet (and stuck the landing). These are two funny ladies, queens of physical comedy, whi must have been quite outrageous at the time.
