Dispite the flooding we can still sit outside and enjoy a relaxed morning. Guess we are few of the lucky ones.

I've seen some photos on the news, just heartbreaking for some, we too (Queensland, Australia) suffered widespread flooding in January. We weren't one of the lucky ones though, but it brought out the best in all of us.

Flooding is terrible. There is very little you can do. Sandbags do not really help. The water comes in via the drainage, the floor and even the walls. Here is another small problem. Croc and snake farms got flooded. Not a comfortable thought when you're walking through knee deep water 

Oh my, not good at all. I visited one of those croc farms when I was there years ago. And snakes too. Be very careful!!
