where to find ipad and webpage coding advice?

Hi guys, just looking for some direction if anybody knows......

i'm re-writing my own website in plain simple HTML, and am testing it out on a pc and an ipad, but the ipad's touch system isn't playing ball as much as one would have hoped. only simple little things, but things i'd like to iron out all the same.
Anyone have any experience with ipad and basic html they can share, or know of anyone/sites i can visit?
