My ipad3 open-close in 2 sec. I am not able to start my ipad. I need help

Hi, welcome to iPF!

I suppose your second post means that your Home button isn't working?

A reset is performed by pressing and holding Home (square button) and Power button at the same time until the Apple logo appears, then release both and let your device power up on it's own.

If this doesn't work (maybe because of the Home button), you will have to restore your device. Here's the link that will show you how to do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414

If this doesn't help, the next option would be to place it into recovery mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
