Costco sells iPods in the stores, but has discontinued web sales, and is not ordering replacement stock for the stores.

How did Apple determine to sell them at SAM's but not COSTCO? And what about BJs?

I wonder why Sears doesn't sell iPads since they own Target. I suspect that there are a lot more Sam's compared to Costco. No Costcos in Okahoma, Arkansas, Nebraska, etc. Yet Oklahoma has 6+ Sam's.
