Why only certain apps????

I love my "New Ipad", but one thing that REALY bugs me is that certain apps are only available in certain countries. For instance here in South African, one of many apps that are not available on the App store is Angry birds. (And this is not about the game, it is about all the different apps). Yes people make up fake addresses to make US purchases, but that is just not the way it should be! When I moved from the UK to South Africa.....all the apps that I downloaded there including the podcasts where erased and even the default apps just because they are not available for my country!!!!!

Does anyone know why Apple does this?

Hi there...it isn't Apple that dictates the restrictions of App availabity, but the countries/regions that create these restrictions.

Apple must comply with the specific regulations set forth by the region/country.

Thanks for the reply. But what I don't understand is why Android would have the apps available here in South Africa and not Apple? (This is just me trying to solve the mysteries of the universe.....lol)

Beats me...direct the question to the developers and also investigate your region regulations pertaining to this.
