Wi fi connection

Hi forum friends!
I have problem with wi fi connection. At home my iPad (new) is recognising network but it cannot stay connected more than 15-20sec at the time..there is no problem of reconnecting but I have to do it manually each time. Before there was no issues because I was connected all the time...I still have not tried with other wi fi , to see if the problem will remain....also I tried with restarting iPad but did not work either!
Any suggestions?

P.s. I had to reconnect 2x just typing this message

Try resetting or rebooting your router. That may help.
