I've had this IPad 2 for almost 2 years now and the Internet has been working mostly fine. It usually connects and let's me use the Internet. But a couple of days ago I was in a room in my house where I usually get the lowest bar of connectivity but it still works, sometimes the Internet stops working altogether but I just move to where the Internet works in that room and then it starts to work again, but this time the internet connection on my iPad went and when I walked around my room to try and get the connectivity back, it wouldn't come back.
I went downstairs to where my internet box is and it started to work again so I thought nothing of it. Usually I get full bars of Internet connectivity in my living room but during that day I only seemed to get 2 bars and sometimes 1 bar unless I went right next to the box, and that's when it was a 3 bars, again I thought nothing of it, I just thought the Internet was playing up that day.
But then I went to another house. I usually have 2 bars of connection when I'm upstairs but later that night when I was upstairs, the Internet was at 1 bar, then there was no connection at all. I took my iPad downstairs and as soon as I got onto the stairs, the Internet came back on and I went back upstairs. Then again the internet was only 1 bar for the whole night, but usually it's at 2 bars. I then went back to the original house and the same problem with the internet in the living room was happening again. The Internet was working but the connection wasn't as strong as usual. Then when I went upstairs that night, there was no internet connection at all. The next day the Internet in the living room was still not as strong as usual.
I then went to a differenthouse. The Internet box is in the dining room and I usually get 1 bar of internet in the living room, but this time there was no Internet connection at all. I then went into the dining room next to the Internet box and the connection was at 3 bars. I tried all of these places with my phone and the Internet on my phone is working fine whereas with my iPad there is no connection. I also tried the original house with another iPad 2, 2 iPod touches, an iPhone and a laptop but the Internet is working fine with those devices. At the second house, I tried the Internet with a computer, a laptop and an iPod touch, and the Internet worked fine. I don't understand what's going on.
My Internet connection had been working mostly fine all this time and now suddenly it's just really weak. I've obviously tried turning the Internet off and on in settings and turning my iPad off and on and I also held down the home button and the lock button to restart it, I've also restarted the Internet boxes but nothing's working. I've also read things about the brightness being something to do with connection problems but my brightness is always at full. I'd really appreciate some help, thanks
