Wifi does not work when i have my case on in house.

My wifi will disconnect in the house if I have my case on the i phone 5 . My i pad works fine and it has a case front and back. Anyone have any ideas why. I would like to buy a good safe case for my i phone but not I'd I have to keep taking it on and off. Any ideas what this happens?

Is there any metal in your iPhone case? If so, it may be interfering with WiFi reception by your iPhone.
