Will Apple add lightening connector to iPad 3

It is hard to know. However, we shall see.

I know many folks are upset about having to buy new cables, but I think the new connector is a major improvement and this is something that needs to be done.

The wait to find out about the iPad Air (my preferred name for it, but not confirmed) will end soon (I hope)! YAY!

No reason to release an iPad 3 with a new connector. Wait till Spring and use it on the iPad 4
