Winterboard components not working

Hi all!

I've noticed that certain components of Winterboard don't work. When it comes to themes which I download from Cydia, they work for the most part. However, when it comes to using the components which come with Winterboard itself like "transparent dock", "dim icons", "Solid status bar", "dim background", etc., they do not work. Anyone know why and how I can resolve this?

I am 4.3.3 jail broken with jailbreakme.com

Thanks a lot for any help! Would appreciate it!

you might need
No dock 2.0 from cydia
transparent status bar 4.o-i think its 4 something anyway
im using ipad2 4.3.3 wifi ed with winterboard and a few other tweeks
transparent status bar
no dock
gravity board
biggify
clear lockscreen

no slider
no slide show button
green apple wifi bars
and the rest dont realy have to do with theme
hope this helps fellow ipad person:)

The vast majority of themes, and Winterboard itself, was originally created to theme the iPhone. It has significantly different UI components (i.e. graphics). Therefore if you apply themes designed for iPhones then they just don't have an effect on the same parts of the UI for an iPad.

All the theme components that ship with Winterboard were designed for a phone, so the only elements that work are those which are exactly replicated on the iPad.

Check our themes section for iPad specific themes, and check the descriptions of themes in Cydia before you install them to get an idea if the author has included iPad components.

Hope that helps.

Yay! Someone I know uses NoDock and NoSlider!!!!!!!!

Well, as usual, f4780y types faster than I. :D

All I can add is - for the adventurous, I should imagine you can change the name of the image in the Winterboard theme (to match the iPad) and it would work... Be fun to try, yeah?
