I have a problem printing anything wirelessly from my 4S iPad other than photos'.
The printer in question is a Canon MG5350, and obviously is connected as I can print photos' using the PIXMA print app I have down loaded.
I am using the current operating system OS 7.1.4.
Does anyone know how to print say a email through the wireless system to the printer????
Thank you.
Bengosan.

Hi, Bengosan! Welcome to iPF!

Your printer is an airprint printer, so you have the possibility to print without the app as well. It may look different in the apps.
In Safari, you have to tap the "Share" icon to get that feature:

In Pages, e.g., you need to tap the tool icon:

To print emails from the built in app, tap the arrow at the top right:

What they all have in common: you choose "Print". This will lead you to the next page, where you have to tap "Select Printer". You may need a few attempts to find your printer, especially if you turned on the printer shortly before trying to print with your iPad. As soon as your printer is recognized, tap the name of the printer (it will be something like "Canon MG 5300"), then choose "Print":

To print documents, you have the option to "Open in..." in some apps:

If you tap "Open in" instead of Print here, you'll see apps that will work with your file, mostly including the Canon app:

Tap the app icon to print from there.

Thank you, thank you, JA for your wonderful tutorial on printing. I appreciate all of the time that you put in to help newbies like myself.
You have no idea just how much this helps me. Now I can print out my patterns rather than keep them on my iPad which I imagine
uses up a lot of memory. Wow what I do without all of the people like yourself. I have learned so much from this forum.
