Wireless printing

Please can someone assist me in trying to activate wireless printing for my iPad 2 and iPhone 4S with my Canon printer. It's compatible with AirPrint however I do not know how to set it up.

Simple....connect your phone to the same wifi network as your printer. Then print whatever it is you wanna print and it should ask you to select the printer you want to use.
