Sorry, it won't play natively. However there are several Apps in the App store that should perform this functionality for you if needed.

May I recommend you take a look at the OPlayerHD app. You can get a Lite (read: free) version to see if it'll work for you. The paid version is $4.99 (USD).

I've used successfully to view .wmv files that others send me via e-mail. Perhaps it'll help you...?
