Would the new ipad 2 batches come with ios 4.3.1?

Ok so after seeing my iPad 2 my sister wants to buy one, Apple online store has 2-3 week wait...

My question is: would this iPad come with iOS 4.3.1? Cause I was also thinking of selling my black 32gb 3G and buying a white 64gb 3G but obviously don't want it to be 4.3.1 so I can jailbreak both.

I'm assuming they would be 4.3.1 but just want to make sure before making any decisions regarding my one

No jailbreak for iPad 2 has been made public so far.

And considering that so far the only exploit for the iPad 2 was found on 4.3, it might be possible that the first iPad 2 jailbreak will only work with 4.3.

I am in the same boat, foolishly upgraded to 4.3.1. But I am trying to get it replaced today for light-bleeding, so I will find out soon enough, whether the new/refurbished units still ship with 4.3.

It looks as if Apple doesn't update the iPad's, yet.
The replacement iPad 2 came with iOS 4.3.

It doesn't matter whether ipad2 is on 4.3 or 4.3.1. Still no JB for them yet. Might as well upgrade.

From what I know is that 4.3 has been jailbroken, 4.3.1 hasn't so it's better to stay on 4.3 for the time being as they might release the jb for 4.3 only

I might just wait to see what iOS my sisters one comes with and decide...

Exactly. That is the main reason I went to the Apple Store and exchanged mine for a new unit. The new one has the same backlight bleeding, which is the official reason for the replacement, but at least it is still on 4.3.
