Would you turn your iPad into a steering wheel for racing games?

Been thinking about this since I got an iPad a few days ago and I want to build one. Would you use it? How could I make it really awesome?

iPad is too heavy for driving games. Blackberry Playbook is better because of the lighter weight. I'd say build it with a base so the weight isn't a factor in how long you want to play.
