YouTube quality settings

Hi,

When I'm on the iPad and trying to look at YouTube links, I have use the web browser and select non HD versions of the video. I guess my wifi isn't as speedy as it should be. In any case, I don't mind using the web but, if a link from somewhere else takes me to YouTube, iPad opens the native YouTube app. As far as I can see, there's nowhere in it to change the quality settings. The result is that it takes forever for the iPad to get through short clips. Does anyone know if there's somewhere within the app to select the quality?

Thanks.

You're right, not much to commend the YT app.

I prefer to use Youtube via a browser app. It will give you an iPad presentation, ie not the PC desktop view, but with extras, including an HQ button which I think is what you're after.
