3G and texting

Hi. I own an iPad 2 wifi+3G . I live in Spain and have 3G phone/Internet contract. The card in the iPad is identical to the one in my phone.
Is there an app which will allow me to send SMS text messages from the iPad using 3G and my account?
I have found web based iPad texting apps mainly for people who are based in the USA. None will do what I want to do.

When you open your 'contacts' app, there is a box under 'notes' for each person which says 'text message', I believe that will work if you have the correct SIM card type as you appear to do.
