6 foot power/sync cables

Hello all, I'm new and pretty non technical. I have a 6 foot power cable that will not charge an iPad. Works on iPhone and the charger on iPad with a 3 foot cable. Anyone know why? Neff

Hi Neff and welcome to the forum. To ensure you can charge up your iPad, use the genuine article that came in the box. Some non genuine stuff may not do the job, just a possibility here. Not enough length? Design your own with a non-expensive extension cord from your local hardware store.
