accessing the internet while in Italy with iPad 2 wi-fi

I am traveling throughout Italy for 2 weeks in May. I plan on bringing my iPad 2 wi-fi with me. I have signed up to Boingo Europe and the hotels I am staying have wi-fi service. Will I have any problem accessing the internet? I use Verizon for my iPhone but use the iPad only through wi-fi connections.

Just got back and had no problem using hotel wifi. Sometimes the signal was weak, but thAt can be a problem anywhere

Depending on where you will be, many restaurants and bars/cafes have free WiFi. That is an even better solution.
