Air Play NOT WORKING on New iPad iOS

It appears that air play is not working in the new iPad iOS. The show I’m trying to watch does not even give the air play symbol yet the same show works perfectly through air play on my new iPhone 11.

just wondering if anyone has experienced this?

I’m experiencing the same problem when trying to stream audio to the Airport Express. Impossible using iPad OS 13.1.1 with iPad Pro and also with iOS 13.1.1 with iPhone X.
But it’s working with iOS 12 on iPhone 5S
