I have been puzzled and frustrated when I try to output video content to AirPlay only to find that only the sound is available to AirPlay. In fact, I think that Apple has so far seriously under delivered on AirPlay because of this.
Could this be related to Wireless Digital Content Protection issues as embodied in HDCP IIA and WHDI? Is AirPlay going to comply or compete with these technologies?
