It’s still the same for me as well. There is no setting that would change this behaviour.

I’ve moved the posts to the thread you’ve started before. You won’t get the same advice twice when everyone sees what has been suggested before.
 
I don't see that, but I only fetch email from one account. I've set all my other email accounts to automatically forward to gmail, to which I point the Mail app. I did this so all my incoming would benefit from gmail's excellent spam filter system. It's an option you might consider, since you're already using gmail. You may need to whitelist some addresses so gmail won't send them to its spam folder, but that's quite easy using gmail's browser interface.
