9to5 Mac reports that Amazon has just updated its iOS Kindle app with thousands of children’s books, comics, and graphic novels that were, up until this point, exclusive to the Kindle Fire. More than 1,000 children’s books, with special features such as Text Pop-Up, have now been added, as has the Kindle Panel View, which will enable users to view comics and graphic novels panel-by-panel. Some of the newly added titles include the likes of Brown Bear, Curious George, Batman and Superman, according to 9to5 Mac. A new Search option has also been added, so that you can find a book by searching for its author or title. The iPad reading experience has also been enhanced as a result of the update, with the introduction of smaller margins and a cleaner look that is supposed to help the reader to focus on the author’s words, according to the iTunes blurb.
