I have a Generation 9 iPad and have this Notification Cekntre which is always on, on every page I download, how can I reomove it please, can it be removed ?
Just to make sure that you're turning off 'AssistiveTouch' - tap the arrow (below blue arrow) to the right of OFF and then toggle the slider switch OFF - see if that helps? DaveNope, still there!
Hmm - well you should have succeeded? Might want to force a restart - see attached video for the 9th generation iPad; if still not successful, is the iPadOS on your device the newest version? If not, might want to try an update/upgrade - good luck! DaveAssistive touch is already turned off.
Did a restart, IPad was very recently updated, button on screen still there!
I turned my iPad on this morning and looked at the settings and an update was offered, so I did that and checked the settings, checked Accessibility and Assistive touch was turned on!, so I turned it off again and the button has disappeared, weird or what, anyway annoying button now gone, thanks folks for your assistance. Two things.
If you have not already done so, try turning the Assistive Touch ON, exiting Settings, then going back and turning it OFF again.
If that does not work, I recommend Reseting all Settings. This won't delete any apps or content, but it will default a lot of you system settings. You'll have to spend some time tweaking the iPad back to the way you prefer it.
Occasionally (especially right after an update) some settings will get stuck, and unresponsive to changes in the Settings app. Reset all Settings almost always fixes this.
Reset iPad settings to their defaults
On iPad, return settings to their defaults without erasing your content.support.apple.com
Be carefully not to chose the wrong option, as those can delete your apps and data, which means you should be sure to BACKUP THE IPAD FIRST.
