Any way to get a Pages document from an Ipad Backup?!

I know, I should have activated iCloud for my Pages documents...

I just sold my Ipad2 last Monday in anticipation of getting the Ipad3. Only today I realized that I never printed out/grabbed a document from Pages that has a recipe I need BEFORE I am able to get an Ipad3.

Is there any way to pull a Pages document from the backup of an Ipad that is on an iMac?! I have pages on the desktop and my iPhone...
