A few weeks ago, Apple has closed the acquisition of Beats Electronics and the Beats Music streaming service, Now, Apple is cutting of the price of all Beats by Dr. Dre products by 10% in both its physical retail stores and official online store. So, if you are a fan of these items, now is your chance to buy those great looking headphones you always dreamed off.
However, you need to know that the 10% off discount will last through August 23rd, but the information isn't coming from Apple itself, but from an independent source. Covered by this deal are Beats products like over-ear headphones, in-ear headphones, and speakers. Only the “Beats Pill Dude” speaker will still retail for the full price of $49.
Perhaps this 10% price-cut makes is a good way for Apple to celebrate its largest acquisition yet, but the company itself didn't mention the reason for the discount. Recently, Apple also debuted a dedicated Beats products section within its online store and back in May, the price of Beats Music became cheaper with a new $99/year subscription plan.
