The Apple Watch will be available on April 10 for pre-orders and for inspection at Apple stores but it will begin shipping only from April 24. But Apple has already started advertising its first wearable in some of its retail locations.
9to5Mac reports that the company has already started advertising Apple Watch in retail stores ahead of next month’s launch. Apple has already kicked off a campaign for Apple Watch in fashion magazines, billboards and in other places in order to prepare for the launch of the smartwatch on April 24 in 9 countries.
And now we're seeing that the retail staff has started to advertise the device inside Apple's own retail stores, as well. Apple has been training its retail staff for the launch of Apple Watch for the past few weeks. The company trained its retail employees on how to sell Watch to customers and also installed safes inside stores to store the more expensive $10k+ gold models.
Apple has also removed fitness related products from Nike and Jawbone from its stores as it prepares to launch its own Apple Watch. Also, it seems that Apple is preparing a new Reserve and Pickup system at its retail stores, as well.
