MacRumors reports on yet another inventive and painstakingly created tribute to Steve Jobs that once again shows the ingenuity of those he inspired and who want to pay tribute to him. This particular tribute, as first reported on German website iOS – Newz, was created with 4001 Post-it notes outside the Apple store in Munich, Germany. It features once again what seems to be emerging as the most iconic image of Steve Jobs from recent times, which is also the front cover photo of his forthcoming biography. The video shows how the mural was created by Michi, Chris, Andreas, Kathi, Richard, Sandra, Jiannis, Fabian, Jenny and many others. Here’s a quote from the video creator and uploader, Andreas Kopp:
“Steve devoted his life to give us the most powerful devices ever available to an ordinary person. Lets honor him and his legacy by action. Get some post-its and post what you have to say as a reply to this video.â€
Andreas writes that the pixels in the video were created with a Mac, and the video was filmed with an iPhone 4 and a timelaps app. It was then edited with iMovie on a MacBook Air. He adds that the portrait took around six hours to create on a “sunny Sunday.â€
