Apple Watch Shows Up in Australian Version of 'Elle' Magazine

It looks like the fashion magazines are starting to pay their undivided attention to the new Apple Watch. The latest page-turner is the Australian version of Elle magazine. In the April edition of this publication, the editors devoted an entire multi-page style guide to making the Apple Watch work for you. Here's a quote from the article, and the image above shows a model discreetly displaying the device.

"For a cocktail party: Wear with a tuxedo suit and sexy heels (think Le Smoking Saint Laurent style with Alexander Wang black heels), or if you have the legs for it, a killer cocktail dress. Mix statement jewels with your watch. Try a fabulous cocktail ring and Cartier’s Love Bracelet would look great sitting side by side with your Apple Watch. It will be the perfect conversation starter at a party."

This appearance in a fashion magazine of the Apple Watch is at least the 7th, including features from Self, Vogue, Style, East Touch, YOHO and Fitness Magazine. It depends on how useful people find it. If people find it fills a real need, they'll keep using it long after they'd stop wearing a fad of the month fashion accessory.
