As Apple is reaching saturation with its services in English-speaking countries, especially the US,Canada and UK, it's looking to expand them to more countries. Now, the company has extended its AppleCare+ warranties internationally, as these are now available in Mexico and Sweden.
Thus, support for AppleCare+ protection plans can now be purchased from Apple's official websites in Mexico and Sweden. By using AppleCare+ plans, users can benefit from a second year of hardware warranty coverage for new iPhone and iPad purchases. They also get extended telephone support from the default 90 days to two full years.
Mexican customers can purchase AppleCare+ coverage for iPhone and iPad for 1,599 pesos and those in Sweden can get it 799 kronor. The total list of countries where AppleCare+ for iPhone, iPad and iPod is available has reached 17 - Mexico, Sweden, Austria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, the U.K., and the U.S.
Back in September, last year, Apple started allowing travelers to have devices serviced even when they are outside of their home country. This means that Apple users can take their devices in for repair in any country where AppleCare+ is offered.
So, if you have an AppleCare+ plan and you're planning to travel to Mexico and Sweden, then you can have the peace of mind that your devices are covered.
