Dear All
I have been switched from windows to ipad2 and looking for ipad2 applications which r equivalent to the following windows apps.

Adobe PDF reder
Microsoft word and excel
Cute FTP

kindly also guide can i open my saved files of above applications in the equivalent ipad2 apps.

There are no exact replacement for what you want, however:

There are many apps that will will read PDF files, and do various things with them. GoodReader is a good starter app until you have more specific requirements. It does a lot of other things as well, so don't fear you'll end up wasting your money on this app. It's the closest thing there is to a Swiss Army knife for iPads.

For a work suite the three most used solutions are iWorks (Pages, Numbers, Keynote), Documents to Go, and QuickOffice. None of them will do everything you could with MS Office, but for basic use any of them are decent. Here is a good summary by richsadams of their strengths and weaknesses.

Cute FTP is mostly unneeded. Most apps have the option to send/save files as PDF. Apple builds the necessary code into iOS, so developers tend to include the option.
