For all those of us who have been intrigued about the forthcoming Steve Jobs biopic, starring Aston Kutcher as Steve Jobs himself, AppleInsider has news today, via The Verge and The Sundance Film Festival, which has announced that the film, entitled jOBS, will have the honour of closing the festival, with a showing on the closing night. To quote the Sundance Film Festival, the film is:
“The true story of one of the greatest entrepreneurs in American history, jOBS chronicles the defining 30 years of Steve Jobs’ life. jOBS is a candid, inspiring and personal portrait of the one who saw things differently.â€
Aside from Kutcher in the lead role, the cast also includes Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad (Steve Woziak), Lukas Haas, J.K. Simmons, and Matthew Modine (former Apple CEO John Sculley). Earlier in the year the actors were spotted filming at Jobs’ old Los Altos home, where the first Apple computer was made. Really looking forward to seeing this movie!
