Hellbrunn Palace and gardens - just a part of what you can see without guided tour or audioguide. If you want to experience the Trick Fountains, you’ll have to take a guided tour (about 40 minutes).

That’s the gazebo used for some scenes from The Sound of Music. At that time it was located in the grounds of Schloss Leopoldskron.

Red Bull Hangar-7
Everything has to do with Red Bull, of course. It’s still interesting. Located next to Salzburg’s W. A. Mozart Airport:

The building with the exhibition is formed like the wing of a plane. Here’s the entrance:

Lovely photos, as usual, bringing back very pleasant memories of a few years ago.

From a small village near Zell am See we drove over to Salzburg a few times over the years. Each time we managed not eat eat any Mozart chocolates, but I recall last time bringing some back for our daughter - we didn't see them again :) While too early for the festival, there were several individuals and trios playing pieces by Mozart around the town. (One trio played pieces on what I think were balalikas.) I see that Placido Domingo will be taking part in the festival this year but unfortunately we are unable to attend - anyway, it was no doubt sold out a long time ago.

Most certainly.

I’ve tried Mozartkugeln once, and decided that’s not for me. That might have been the reason why I forgot about these when I was there.
Most of the people I know like the ingredients, though: dark chocolate, nougat and pistachio marzipan.
