Auto bluetooth

Hi

Has anyone or can someone try connecting their iPad to their automotive bluetooth?

The reason I ask is I am looking to buy a car with Bluetooth and they want $2000 to put nav in the dash. If the bluetooth can put the voice through the stereo i could buy 3 more iPads for that much.

Check that your car's Bluetooth will support audio to the car stereo. I have a late model Ford with Bluetooth and while that supports hands-free connection to my mobile 'phone, it does not support audio Bluetooth streaming from an audio player.

We decided to get the in dash gps installed anyway.
I'll try it if the bank gives use the loan and post how it turns out.
