If I understand the concept of Background App Refresh settings correctly, it basically allows apps to have network and GPS access while in background. How come there are a lot of apps (which require such access, e.g. Skype, SIP apps, etc.) missing from that section? Is it merely because their developers haven't adapted them to the new settings yet? Or will such apps lost network/GPS access automatically on iOS7 until they get there?
(I know Skype for instance has some setting of its own, Log Me Off After..., which when set to Never probably does the same thing as Background App Refresh would.)
