Backlight bleeding?

I have been reading that some have back light bleeding, but I am unsure what it exactly looks like. I have opened iTouch apps that have a black border and enhanced the lighting but I don't know what I am looking for.

Can someone explain what I should be looking for?

Basically, the way I found my backlight bleed was by turning my brightness up full blast and viewing something with a dark/black background (like a movie)

It doesn't bother me all that much because I found it by accident, but I feel like I should probably exchange it because of the price I paid.

But before you look for it, remember: what has been seen can't be unseen.

I would go to YouTube and look for a vid on it the way to check your iPad is cover lens and take a pic it should be a black pic then check the pic it have no light spots on the sides of the screen .

You should take it back you did pay a lot . And it dose look better with no light leaking . It took 4 iPads till i got a good one but it was worth it it looks grate now.

I cancelled my appointment at apple today cause they have no stock, does anyone know If I take it back do they swap it for a refurb or a new one

I would go to the apple store they have ones in stock for this problem . And most likely you will get a new one because it's only been out a short time the longer you wait then you will get a refurbish one.
