BBC iPlayer through a proxy

Am currently in France. I have had a proxy set up so I can watch BBC iplayer
On my PC. Is there any way I can use this proxy to view iplayer on my iPad?

My iPad works on wifi from the PC's modem.

'Settings', 'WiFi', touch the '>' symbol on the WiFi network you want to use and you'll open a page where you can enter the details of the proxy server.
